The June issue of Playboy will arrive with a little extra somethin’ somethin’: 3D Glasses. Good ol’ Hef is looking to attract new readers with this gimmick of letting Hope leap off the page.

I hate to break it to you Hef, but the only thing in 3D these days is kid’s movies. And parents hate paying the extra $3 for glasses on top of $18 dollar popcorn. Nevermind the fact that target market is way too young to see Hope leap out of anywhere, unless she’s got clothes on. I wouldn’t expect too much from this idea, really. 3D glasses have never worked all that well, even with recent improvements in CGI.

Prediction: Hef’s idea is going to crash and burn.
