The school is Higashine Shiritsu Sakuranbo Shougakkou, or in English; Higashine Municipal Cherry Elementary School. It’s currently under construction and getting ready to open. –The only problem is, when pumping the name into a Google search, one gets Shiritsu Sakuranbo Shougakkou, an adult sex game and pictures of questionably legal anime girls. (Of course, now that puritanical Google Instant is on the job, maybe that’s not an issue anymore…) Administrators apparently didn’t realize they named the school after a seedy sex simulator, but they say they’re not changing it because “that will justify this adult world all the more.” Well, what did they expect when they called it Cherry Elementary?
